Professional Biography

Mrs Bajekal was appointed as consultant gynaecologist in 2001. She graduated from Medical School in 1986 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1996. She has trained extensively in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India, and in the United Kingdom. Since May 2001, Mrs Bajekal has been a Consultant at Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust.

At Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust she is actively involved in high risk Obstetrics and is the clinical lead for a number of Gynaecological Conditions. She runs national and international courses and workshops on topics in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Outside of her own practice she has is particularly driven by medical education and training and supervising future Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
